Best Time to visit London not in Peak Season

The United Kingdom has many sea gates. London itself is a great port. London as we all know is the capital of Britain. Its population touches 7 million people. Britain consists of England, Scotland and Wales, which together form the Great Britain, and Northern Ireland.

We had planning to see London for a long time but last year it actually happened when my father’s official work made it possible. As the schools closed after exam in April we booked ourselves to visit our dream city London. Communication would be no problem as we all could speak fluent English.

Peak summer months
We did some research on the city when to visit London and discovered that July and August were peak-summer months but as it happened to coincide with summer break it could weigh heavily on our pockets. With our situation and studies we found May month very convenient to visit. I had dreamt and read a lot about Big Ben and River Thames and change of guard duty at the Palace. We had two full days to see this expensive city. Best time to visit London is indeed in spring the outside temperature is tolerable and greenery in and around the city is at its best.

Dense population and city temperature
We, my parents and elder brother took a flight from Delhi to London with a few hours of halt at Dubai. Journey was pleasant and comfortable. Companions on board when asked when to visit London enlightened us that there was no such time which could be called Best time to visit London as weather cannot be predicted with certainty and rising buildings and population keeps it a few degree warmer compared to outskirts of the city. We reached our hotel late at night and looked forward to the next day sightseeing. We were aware when to visit London and happy at our decision.

Sightseeing for all seasons
We were to take hope in hop out tourists red color buses to see the destination we wanted and had shortlisted. Our journey first hop was at London eye. We bought ticket and boarded the wheel cylindrical sitting place. At that height we could see almost 25 miles on either side. We enjoyed clicking pictures. The huge clock named Big Ben was amazing and its architecture delightful. It looked as if it had come out fairy tale books. You may also visit London through London trip planner.

After this we walked further and took River Thames Cruise. The conductor on the ship acted as a guide and talked about the nearby places as we crossed it. The best part of the cruise was the disjoining of the road bridge to let ship pass. It was amazing!

The Buckingham Palace the Queen’s living abode was very attractive. The stern faces of Queen’s guard at changing of duty and when on duty amazed us. How well they controlled their expressions. All year round is the best time to visit London. We also went to Madame Tussards and saw wax models of Indian film stars displayed along with other international personalities.

Our trip was a memorable one. I sincere appreciate the site Triphobo which was well equipped to provide relevant information to queries promptly.
